At DetoxAI, we believe that everyone should have the right to enjoy gaming in a safe online environment. We understand that each person has a different expectation for what constitutes a safe environment, thus we strive to design non-intrusive solutions for people to control their gaming experience, whether they are a parent letting their child try an online game, a trash-talk loving teenager, an adult with social anxiety, or a retiree exploring virtual worlds.
Our story
Detox originated as a third party add-on for the massively online multiplayer game World of Warcraft, created by our founder Bruce Cheung. Prior to establishing DetoxAI in 2021, Bruce was a forensic technology consultant at KPMG in London for over seven years, where he advised corporations in the compliance monitoring of their global messaging platforms.
